In this hour we discuss Kevin Roberts and The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, (Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise), as well as President Donald Trump's first 100 days in office, mainly from women’s perspective.
We cover reproductive rights and developments in abortion rights, identity politics, the nuclear family and how MAGA romanticizes 1950s America. We also touch on the SAVE Act and the alarming immigration and deportation policies that are currently being enacted, as well as the gutting of Department of Education and other DOGE actions.
The Trump administration is changing American politics and challenging the constitution faster than most of us can keep up with, with new developments hitting the news every day. One very curious development that happened between the time we recorded this episode and the time we published (2 weeks) - was that the official website for Project 2025 (project2025.org) set up a redirect that now takes you to this page: mandateforleadership.org. Prior to this redirect, you could easily access the entire 925-page Mandate For Leadership document on the site, but they have since removed that. Now, they offer you the option to purchase a copy of Project 2025, which conveniently states that it is sold out.
